Before your first session you will share recent lab results, along with a food log, and complete my nutrition assessment forms.This helps me get to know you better in advance, so I can tailor our session to your specific health goals and outline how nutrition can play a key role in supporting you. Don’t worry about the paperwork – once you’ve signed up for your first session, I’ll make sure you have all the forms you need.

In our initial meeting, we’ll explore your medical history, recent lab results, supplements, and food log related to nutrition. I’ll carefully assess your dietary habits, review your labs, and discuss any signs and symptoms you’re experiencing to identify how nutrition can support you. Together, we’ll discuss my insights and observations, and I’ll provide you with tailored nutrition strategies to implement over the next 3-4 weeks.

In our follow-up sessions, we’ll review your progress with implementing the nutrition plan. We’ll discuss any challenges you encountered and the positive changes you’ve experienced in your symptoms. Depending on the duration of plan implementation, we may schedule lab tests to assess the effectiveness of our nutrition strategies. These tests may include monitoring improvements in A1c, cholesterol, triglycerides, and more, tailored to your specific needs. During these sessions, we’ll delve deeper into existing strategies or introduce new ones to support you in reaching your wellness goals with nutrition.

Final Nutrition Session

You’re in control of when you feel ready to conclude nutrition counseling. Typically, clients choose to end sessions upon reaching their goals, such as reducing A1c levels, cholesterol, triglycerides, or achieving weight balance. However, you’re always welcome to check in whenever you need support. My goal in nutrition counseling is to equip you with the knowledge and practical advice to confidently sustain and optimize your cardiometabolic health through nutrition.
